Sarah Slean has a history of playing with some of Canada's best symphonies. In 2004 she played select songs from her album Day One with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Months later she would play the song The Score with National Arts Centre Orchestra at the Govenor General Awards. In 2007 Sarah payed tribute to Joni Mitchell's music with the CBC Radio Orchestra and a year later she would play with Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. Sarah has played a number of themed shows with Toronto's Art of Time Ensemble and in 2009 they recorded the album Black Flowers together. In 2011 Sarah released her most ambitious project to date, a double album titled Land & Sea to which the 'Sea' album was recorded with a 21 piece string orchestra. Sarah has performed these songs live with a hand picked string orchestra in Toronto, Symphony NS and has an upcoming date with the Niagara Symphony.
