About Ao Usagi Tribute Show (Great Job!): Ao Usagi makes surreal artwork, ranging from Safe For Work to Not Safe For Work, as well as Touhou comics which are equally surreal. For April Fools Day, I thought it would be fun to adapt one of Ao Usagi's April Fool comics. Surprised by how easy it was to make compared to my normal series, Five Dangerous Months At The Hinata Inn, I decided I'd try to adapt about 95% of Ao Usagi's comics.

The finished sketches reminded me very much of either Monty Python or Tim and Eric, but having previously done comics in the Python format, seamlessly transitioning from one sketch to the next, the comics felt too disjointed and more akin to Tim and Eric's loose "now that the sketch is over, here's another totally random one" style, I decided to frame these around a Tim And Eric-esque presentation, hence the opening and closing credits/themes. Besides, as Rule 9 of the internet explains, there will always be a Touhou crossover of *something*: no exceptions.
