Ken Loach is not a happy man. At least, not as far as censorship is concerned. Having previously had an 18 rating slapped on Sweet Sixteen, his chagrin at having his wrists slapped for the use of a certain word in his new film, The Angels' Share, was evident (let's just say it rhymes with 'flunt') when Empire met up with him. Loach and his screenwriter Paul Laverty talked through their feelings on cutting, as well as the film's star Paul Brannigan, a Glaswegian discovered by Laverty at Strathclyde police's Violence Reduction Unit. Needless to say, strong language ensued.
