American Robin

A pair of American Robins (Turdus migratorius) tending their nest, laying eggs, caring for the young and the young fledging. They are active mostly during the day. They eat bugs such as beetle grubs, earth-worms, and caterpillars as well as fruits and berries. The nest consists of long coarse grass, twigs, paper, feathers, and is smeared with mud.. IThey are on of the the first birds to sing at dawn.
