Watch in 4K if you can! This is a 360 video however I've changed the Point of View (POV) throughout. So, you can move around if you want with your mouse, finger, or VR glasses, but my editing may cause you to get lost. When I realized I can edit it this way I got a little carried away with it, so I may have just taken some of the fun away from your control ;)

Ok, so this is “noisy” (grainy) because the ISO was way too high apparently. I didn’t have time to experiment with different ISO’s and I didn’t have any way to see what I was shooting! To really interface with the settings and actually see what you’re shooting you have to have a compatible IOS or Android. I had neither. I thought I was going to have a compatible iPad to borrow on location but it wouldn’t connect to this camera. If I keep the camera though I’ll of course buy a tablet to control it. So, all I could do was shoot in full auto, which I hate doing, but that’s all I could do at that moment! Anyways, it was nonetheless fun. I probably could spend a $100 on “Neat” software to clean up the noise, but nah… this is just a different kind of test.
Last year I tried a couple of other 360 cameras. I wasn’t happy with any of them and before I returned them I wanted to shoot Oak Grove String Band but we just couldn’t coordinate it in time.
This year I tried the 360 fusion. After experimenting with this camera I just wasn’t happy with its performance either. I mean, the fusion was the best, don’t get me wrong. It does a very decent job but for my purposes it’s just not good enough. I mean, I “may” keep it anyways but I really can’t afford it for the occasionally fun gig. So I’ll most likely hold out until demand and/or quality goes up.
Again, before returning this 360 I tried to capture OGSB three times before having to return it. The first time their practice was canceled. The second time we all realized it was valentine’s day. The third time we did it and I’m so glad we did!!! Love these guys :) Oh, and that's Phil on the bass, not Thomas. Thomas couldn't make it but I wasn't going to miss another chance...
