I’ve always been fascinated with change. Why are some people able to turn their lives around but others get stuck? Traveling the road, filming our documentary Minimalism, I found out that many I admired had struggled a lot early on. So how did they do it? How did they turn their lives around? Where did they start?
The lesson’s I learned from these interviews were thought-provoking, inspiring, and mind-bending. I’ve curated them down into a fifteen minute film I’m calling “Unstuck: The Five Steps to Change”, where I detail the specific steps, tools and strategies that these individuals used to create radical changes in their lives.
Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things was a journey from the beginning. I loved it. I hated it. I finished the film multiple times only to throw it out and start over again. It was the most difficult project I've ever worked on but one of the easiest to say yes to. I'm incredibly proud of what we made and now I want to show you how we did it.
The Ground Up Show is a podcast about how to create something from nothing. When I first got started out as a filmmaker I had no idea what I was doing. There were mistakes. Lots of mistakes. To this day I'm constantly reminded how much I still have to learn. That's why I'm sitting down with some of the smartest and most talented people I know. To tap into their minds so you and I can learn together.
