Painting our Westfalia cabinets has made our van feel less like an ’80s weekend getaway camper and more like a cozy home on wheels.
While Coleman was away on a business trip, I (Lisa) decided to paint all of the interior cabinetry. It was a way bigger job than I had initially realized and took five days to prep, mask, prime, prime again, paint and reinstall all of the hardware and cabinets (oh, and drying time in between each coat). Looking back, it was a pretty big job to have done alone, but I have to admit, the time and effort was so worth it. Now we have a gorgeous, Pinterest-ready white interior.
