Because this film was for a CCA (Continuing Care Assistant) project to be presented to their classmates at NSCC (Nova Scotia Community College), the writers did not include the definitions of what each stage was in the video itself, but to help those of you who are looking for more information on what each stage is, here is a breakdown of the 7 stages of dementia:
Stage 1: No Impairment. During this stage, Alzheimer's disease is not detectable and no memory problems or other symptoms of dementia are evident.
Stage 2: Very Mild Decline.
Stage 3: Mild Decline.
Stage 4: Moderate Decline.
Stage 5: Moderately Severe Decline.
Stage 6: Severe Decline.
Stage 7: Very Severe Decline.
