Dank Schutzart IP 69K widersteht er Hochdruckreinigungen aus nächster Nähe. Zuverlässig und präzise misst er die Medientemperatur in Behältern und Tanks.

Mit dem TD setzt ifm auf ein Plug&amp;Play-Gerät, das werkseitig voreingestellt ist. Ein Zusammenbau und Verdrahtung wie beim Kopftransmitter ist nicht nötig: Anzeige, Messelement und Elektronik sind in einem Gehäuse integriert. Montage und Inbetriebnahme reduzieren sich so auf ein Minimum. 
Das gut ablesbare Display ermöglicht die Vor-Ort-Anzeige der Temperatur.

Die Sensoren der Baureihe TD sind mit verschiedenen Stablängen, Prozessanschlüssen und Messbereichen erhältlich. Eine Vielzahl von Adaptern erleichtert den Einbau in den Prozess.

Die Geräte können als Zweileiter oder Vierleiter betrieben werden. Im Vierleiterbetrieb kann der Transmitter über IO-Link, z. B. mittels USB-Interface, parametriert werden. Die Software LINERECORDER DEVICE gestattet die Visualisierung, Übertragbarkeit und Archivierung der Parametersätze.</media:description>
