(Reupload because I didn't realize how short this sortie was orz)
Console because I am trash tier on PC - bad twitch reflexes and a tiny mousepad area do not help anything. Also some Pale Rider gameplay, where I am still bad at the whole Soldier:76 thing.

So BIT.TRIP is on the Switch now... I'm glad they brought back COMPLETE's Challenges, and it's kind of weird that it's gyro control only by default - if you only have a controller without gyro, you literally can't play. If you're using Joycons, only the left one does tilt, but you reset the controller position with the right one. So weird.

Anyway, this is me with a gigantic patina of rust.

You could call this the prequel to Ikaruga, though there's a lot of leeway around that. Radiant Silvergun is... uh... distressingly hard, even if you know what you're doing. I don't, because my only experience with this game is the TAS of it. Probably making it harder for myself by remembering the one major scoring (and clearing!) mechanic - killing three enemies of the same color in a row increases your score, but you have to _keep_ killing that same color.

Also I have no idea what I'm doing with the seven weapons, and I'm constantly hitting the wrong button when I want to do the bullet-destroying weapon. So take this footage of me failboating however you want.

Um, so EXTREME NSFW warning. (As if it wasn't already age-restricted.) No porn, but it's super ecchi. If you haven't played Monster Monpiece, Moe Chronicle, or Moe Crystal, you are almost certainly unprepared for this game. (I've played all three, and even I'm off-balance.)

EastAsiaSoft has just released the next English installment of the Unlikely Knight series, and it's pretty unlike the other three games thus far. The experience system letting you basically micromanage your stats is interesting, but jeez was not expecting breast massage (and what I assume will eventually be Omega Labyrinth levels of boobage). Also a little sad we've gone back to normal Compile Heart in terms of exploration/dungeons/combat. I liked the labyrinths, (but screw those enemies that replace the monmusus in Crystal once you pick them up), but I suppose it was inevitable.

As for putting more of this on here? Probably not? Assuming I don't get struck by this, there are other reasons why I might not even have access to my recording hardware in the near future. And I'm definitely going to play this during that lack of access...

This is absolutely not 100% reliable, and should not be relied on to make your Wave 6 decisions.

The main core of my setup is two main echelons - one with PP-19 Mod and 416 Mod for their grenades, one with Angelica and C-MS for putting bullets downrange.
G11 Mod is my leader thanks primarily to her Mod 2 Skill, which penetrates shields like butter when she can get it off. In hindsight, STAR-15 Mod is probably not needed outside of doggo waves, and I might consider AS Val Mod despite the lack of external buffs for her Mod 2 Skill. Also consider Micro Uzi Mod for her Mod 2 Skill thanks to how dense the humanoid waves are. Maybe FAL for her triple grenades.
Always have a plan for dealing with Doppels. Only RO Mod's Skill 2 can dodge, so if you bring C-MS, get her on damage bullets for just a little more DPS. If only Ceno wasn't a discouraged Doll...
As for Patrollers, it's mostly just a question of how long your tanks can weather the shield mode while G11 and Sniper Fairy cast Pierce.

I hear a certain defensive Fairy that also got reworked recently is just as great as Sniper for this...

(Also I apologize again for sepiatone. I keep forgetting about Night Mode.)

The new Theater encourages non-standard formations and occasional wonky teambuilding, but sometimes it's just nice to go practically AFK on what used to be punishing content. I just wish it would have possible to take advantage of M500 Mod, but alas, no HG makes it hard to get buffs on her.

(Also nice to already be this far into Core this early, but that's a different story. Core 8 vid probably Sunday?)

Well, anyway, I saw on Reddit a bit ago that people apparently had a lot of trouble with this particular song; the hits are way off-beat or something? Um, yeah, no; the hit zone for the notes are huge on the early side, and minuscule on the late side. If you look at the Normal difficulty, you can see some of the rings last quite a while. Maybe it's just my experience with Cytus and Ouendan talking, but I know I hit nearly every beat in the typical great judgment windows. Probably not a Project DIVA Perfect, but close enough.

Or, how to get filtered and somehow still win. Hate those Minos with a passion still. We have all of six sorties in Core 8 for points this Theater, so I don't know how big the filter is, but I'm at top 4% with all of six best scouts (all but one early on), one no scout (CBT starting late left me shook), and more worst scouts than best scouts. IDK man, shit's weird this Theater.

Player formations:
1) MG2SG for anti-Pyxis; Kord works if you're using it for the Dragoon formation, otherwise probably better to run Lewis or Chauchat or RPK or M1918 MOD or Negev (no, please don't run Negev). KSVK MOD screens for Drag-on Dragoon formation when paired with 2B14. (Mind the Jaegers - M2 generally can't tackle those guys in time to not get someone skillshotted by them.)
2) IWSxodia for anti-Uhlan and Patroller. Staggering the skills for the Patroller... works better if you have full links. Taunt Fairy gives you a lot of time against those two formations. As in previous Theaters, just move Px4 down to dodge Uhlans, and shove Five-seveN and Calico to the sides to dodge Patrollers.
3) Dummy echelon for the points. M14 MOD is just for more points against the boss.
4) HGRF for anti-Doppel and Gladiator. Uh... I still can't reliably dodge the Minos. Probably should set Grape up for Forced Manual to dropkick them when the shields are down?
5) Night ARSMG for anti-Prowler. Pack 2B14 to drop the doggos.
6) RoF ARSMG for anti-Orthrus. All you need is to slam as many bullets as you can into those shields. Maybe not Dorothy because you need to screen against the Centaurus too? Can't do that too well with the off-tank thanks to Dorothy's skill. AN-94, SIG-556, and Angelica all can supplant G11's spot, and possibly Deagle's too, since her shield pierce is just her. HP-35 might be a useful off-meta choice to help with tanking arrows? Don't know if the 15% damage reduction would help a whole lot.

HOC choices:
The only shielded enemies are the Patrollers, Doppelsoldners, and Uhlans, which means BGM is your ATW of choice, rather than AT4 in previous Theaters. If you haven't maxed out or nearly maxed out 2B14 and somehow got this far, you should rectify that ASAP,; they're extremely good when maxed. As for your third, M2 gets priority if you've gotten them up to 100/red stars, otherwise whichever of your grenadiers you have stronger. There are a lot of threats in the back lines this Theater, so M2's backline targeting helps thin them out at least a little bit.

(Literally all of my HOCs have maxed out chip stats thanks to the HOC calculator; use it! If you're having trouble with the login not working through the proxy, try logging in to GFL as normal without the proxy, but right after the login screen disappears, tab out, turn on the proxy and change your proxy settings, then tab back into the game.)

Because I have the week off for the first time in literal years, I decided to do a long stream of playing through the entirety of (the base game of) Ace Combat 7. Aside from making sure I prepared the planes for this, I have not played for at least a year. I apologize for the shit quality; I do not have good streaming internet. My capture card is currently down, so no eventual HD version, unfortunately.

Restrictions:
Ace difficulty
"canonical" planes (F-16, F-18, F-22)
gamebook progression (all planes have no part slots when I first use them - gain part slot after every successful mission; Queen's Custom is only equippable after the cutscene where you get it originally, and only on the Spare plane and Mission 20)

And this is why people are getting filtered all over the place. Too many things need taunters...

Also why the fuck is my recording so insistent on having the blue light filter on...

My formations:
1) Anti-Strelet MGSG; lead S.A.T.8. She gets focus fired, while the MGs shred the enemy.
2) IWS-xodia. R93 as second DPS helps balance the cooldowns. They get the Taunt to deal with Patrollers and Uhlans. I use them for damn near anything that doesn't require a specific setup.
3) Bonus unit squadron. I'm not going to attempt to figure out how much bonus I get with the levels I have, so I do all five available.
4) Anti-Doppel RFHG; Ceno leads. In hindsight, Type 88 MOD3 isn't the best choice for this, thanks to only a 35% damage boost at day. If you use M200, you can use this instead for Anti-Patroller (though if you do that, give this one the Taunt). M14 MOD3 could also help.
5) Anti-Night ARSMG; AS Val MOD2 leads. Technically OTs-14 deals more damage over time. C-MS's position has to be a hard tank to deal with the Brutes; M1985 MOD2 has to retreat once the SWAP Strikers start spinning. Airstrike Fairy to deal with the Dinergates. (Make sure to move AS Val so she doesn't get sniped by Jaguars).
6) Anti-Pyxis MGSG; lead Negev. One of the Big 4 would probably work better than M1918 MOD3 in terms of damage. Honestly, though, bring in someone with grenades or something instead, so you can deal with the Prowlers. SOPMOD MOD2, 416 MOD1, FAL all work reasonably well with a night vision scope.

How does stream work. Maybe a longstream of AC7 or this game in the future if I eventually have time to be silly and have eight+ hours to kill.

Who needs high star Fairies or an actually useful Grapecano setup? HOCs, baby!

Notes:
BGM-71 is rocking 711 Pierce, and 2B14 is dealing 338 Lethality. Both are 10/10/10. I use AGS-30 because the Brutes are much more annoying enemies than Doppels, but if you're having trouble piercing shields, you should probably swap them out for AT4; despite them being locked at 2*, they don't rely on their skills, so just get their levels up for 5* Chips then you can up Pierce.

Doppels are best dealt with by Grapecano, but in a massive pinch you can run 3MG, since they have the health to not lose links constantly to the mass grenades. That only works once per MGSG though, and that team is almost certainly going to be on their last man at maybe 3% health, and running Red Dots on all of them, regardless of their normal Accuracy, is basically required to avoid chumpblocking. My Grapecano setup is not the greatest, not helped by the fact that Python isn't at 5x links. Make sure any Doppels in range have ceased moving before firing off Ceno's skillshot!

I run IWSxodia against Uhlans because aside from moving Px4 Storm to 5, the chances of taking any damage in that setup is minimal; only bad rolls dealing with the Strelets will get that SL 10 Taunt Fairy down.

Mass Strelets are best dealt with by S.A.T.8's shield; run either grenadiers or 2B14 to deal with the large mass. I run S.A.T's skill on Forced Manual because the first shield will expire before the enemy can destroy it, which reduces its effectiveness somewhat. It's hardly required unless you're using her to chump block Uhlans.

Brute/Striker is the literal worst. Running C-MS and either RO635 or UMP45 seems to help thanks to their chunky Evade, but the big thing is taking out those Brutes as soon as humanly possible before they can chunk your SMGs down. C-MS should be running HP instead of AP ammo.

Dinergate formation dies really easily to Airstrike; just level it enough to chunk them down in one shot, then the Prowlers are basically useless. Just mind the Jaguar mortaring you from the back - you won't be able to deal with it until the rest of the mobs are down, so you need to move.

What with the current crisis cramping my ability to go out, here's a run through of the fourth chapter of Malicious Fallen. (Don't ask about Pursuit, I've not got enough experience on it to actually kill any of the bosses) I don't really like playing Rebirth, mostly because the S values for Enemies Killed and Chain are absolutely massive compared to the other ones.

I have _no_ fucking idea on how to reliably S Rank the Cleansing Apparatus, and I had to vent a couple of continues, but
