WORLD’S SMALLEST WORKING MARBLE RUN??

Today The Curator shows us something amazing he recently uncovered - an incredible, tiny, perfect;y working miniature wooden marble run, made by Liebe in Germany!

This miniature marble marvel is made of solid hardwood, and expertly crafted with all of the tiny parts you need to make a selection of working marble run tracks.

Check it out! You’d have lost your marbles not to (see what we did there?)

FAQ QUESTION: &quot;WHERE DO I BUY ONE OF THESE??&quot;
 - The Curator usually finds the exhibits via eBay or similar sites. They're not easy to find sometimes, but they're out there. Be patient and you might be lucky! If we have a retail web link, we’ll put it at the top of the description. If its not there, there isn’t one to give you.

FAQ QUESTION: &quot;WHY DOESN'T THE CURATOR TALK??&quot;
 - Unfortunately, The Curator isn't able to talk in the videos - its just not possible. Actually, its a good thing - stops us listening to his nasally, whiney British accent.

FAQ QUESTION: &quot;CAN I HAVE ONE OF THE EXHIBITS??&quot;
 - Sadly no. If we did that, there'd be nothing in the collection! BUT, we do hold competitions from time to time, so stay tuned!

FAQ QUESTION: “WHAT SCALE ARE THE MINIATURES??”
- They’re usually not described by scale (Eg 1/12th, 1/6th etc) - but Colin usually appears with every one in the videos, and he is 4 inches / 10cm tall.

For help and advice, use the Arduboy Community at http://community.arduboy.com/ PLEASE NOTE: This is an Arduino-based computer product and NOT a simple PLUG &amp; PLAY games console - you may experience technical issues when setting up or downloading games ===

CAN A GAMEBOY GET ANY SMALLER??

ARDUBOY thinks it can! This amazing Kickstarter project gained so much success, that they started a Pre-Order service to buy! That’s exactly what The Curator did, and when it turned up recently… (game)BOY, did it not disappoint!

This miniature working marvel is a credit-card sized Nintendo Gameboy style handheld open-source gaming platform. By downloading games and demos, you can load one up onto your Arduboy and play it just like a Gameboy! And with an OLED mono screen, its WAY clearer and bright that the original ever was!

Check out The Curator as he demos the console and tries a few of the games already created by the growing community of fans!

More projecting fun!

We’ve previously looked at amazing working miniatures such as Projecteo (a miniature slide projector) and our collection of miniature View-masters. Well today, The Curator is showing us THREE new additions to the collection!

Join us he demonstrates two working miniature slide projectors and a new miniature viewer toy - all work just like the real thing!

FAQ QUESTION: &quot;WHERE DO I BUY ONE OF THESE??&quot;
 - The Curator usually finds the exhibits via eBay or similar sites. They're not easy to find sometimes, but they're out there. Be patient and you might be lucky! If we have a retail web link, we’ll put it at the top of the description. If its not there, there isn’t one to give you.

FAQ QUESTION: &quot;WHY DOESN'T THE CURATOR TALK??&quot;
 - Unfortunately, The Curator isn't able to talk in the videos - its just not possible. Actually, its a good thing - stops us listening to his nasally, whiney British accent.

FAQ QUESTION: &quot;CAN I HAVE ONE OF THE EXHIBITS??&quot;

   <media:description>=== You can find the Game Player Micro (or Mega Drive Micro) games console via eBay searches - its hard to find, but appears quite often (but not always with additional cartridges) ===

More Miniature Gaming fun!!

Today the Curator takes a look at the interesting Game Player Nano (also titled the Mega Drive Micro). This fascinating little handheld games console comes from China, and has over 40 Sega Megadrive games built into it.

BUT! As an added bonus, The Curator got a bundle from his eBay seller, which included and extra 3 CARTRIDGES! Yeah that's right - this little beauty can use additional CARTRIDGES!

This makes it a REAL miniature gaming console - so what's it like to play? Check out the video and see for yourself!

   <media:description>You can order your own Mini Museum via their website at www.minimuseum.com

Wait... what? A Working Miniature Museum... inside our Working Miniature Museum??

Yes thats right!! This is Mini Museum, the brainchild of Hans Fex. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Hans realised his dream and set up Mini Museum, a company dedicated to creating beautiful miniature desktop museums!

Each contains real museum-grade specimens, (usually taken from a larger one) - every piece is 100% original, and hand cast into Acrylic.

The results are an amazing achievement and one that you can enjoy and learn from forever.

Check out The Curator's video as he shows us his own copy and some of the fascinating things inside it!

MERLIN’S BEARD!!!!

When we heard about this AMAZING new TinyDuino kit developed by Tiny Circuits, we couldn’t believe it! But one thing we DID believe - we’d be getting one for the Museum. And here it is!

After a successful Kickstarter, the Tiny Arcade is now available to all (on preorder only at the moment)

This must be the smallest working multitude arcade game in the world (that you can buy easily) - Its not more that 3 inches tall, and yet its a fully functional arcade machine, complete with colour screen, joystick and buttons, speaker and a volume control. It even has a micro SD card to load new games onto!

You HAVE to see this thing! Its amazing!

What can we say about this? Its incredible. An incredibly tiny 1:1000 scale WORKING powered train set, made with some incredible technology.

Mini card games galore?… DEAL ME IN!

Today The Curator is in the mood to play some card games - and in his usual style, they’re ALL perfect working miniature ones! He delves into the Museum collection to show you all of the mini card games that he has - from Decks of Cards, to Uno and Top Trumps - there’s lots to see! So pull up a chair at the green felt table, get your chips ready (or pretzels if you prefer) and get ready to see The Curator’s winning hand (or hands).
