There's a few scary moments in this. My initial attempts (w/ the moveset Return, Shadow Ball, Psychic and Psybeam) got walled by Metagross, Steven's ace, so I had to learn a few setup moves. Hidden Power was learned to determine which type it was, turns out it was Fighting. Calm Mind (and Reflect, to a lesser extent) was definitely the play against Metagross. Anyways, the run through the Elite Four and the champion had a pretty rocky start, considering that Sidney, the first one you fight, has Pokémon that are (part) Dark. Special mention goes to his Shiftry for being an extra pain, with a Swagger + Torment combo. Torment means you cannot use the same move twice in a row for the rest of the battle. To be honest though, I expected that one to give me a bit of trouble. The rest of the Elite Four (including the Champion) went pretty smoothly. By the way, the Elite Four battle theme is A+, period.
