   <media:description>The Amazing Kreskin turns 80 today, so we thought we'd share this little treat from the #StromboArchives: George's 2009 interview with the world-famous mentalist on The Hour.

At the time, he'd just published Kreskin Confidential, a memoir about his incredible career.

Don't miss out on the second half of the interview, where Kreskin conspires with the audience to play a little trick on George!

   <media:description>Back in 2006, George sat down with Bruce Dickinson and Janick Gers to talk about Iron Maiden's 14th studio album A Matter of Life and Death. They also talked about the state of music at a time of great change in the business.

&quot;The value of music, the physical value of it, has become devalued,&quot; Dickinson said. &quot;So whilst music is probably more popular now than at any time in human history, you get bombarded with music wherever you go. I try to find place that don't have music now, where I can just sit in peace and quiet and silence. Because I don't want 24/7 music.&quot;

   <media:description>In 2006, George sat down with the pioneering Iranian-Canadian blogger Hossein Derakhshan, whose &quot;Hoder&quot; blog earned him the nickname of &quot;Blogfather&quot; in Iran. Two years later, Derakhshan was arrested in Tehran and convicted of spreading propaganda, co-operating with hostile powers and insulting Islam, earning him a 19-year sentence.

Today Derakhshan was released after having spent six years in prison (he was reportedly pardoned by Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei). From the archives, here's George's conversation with the Blogfather Hossein Derakhshan.

   <media:description>When Jonny Buckland was a boy scout, he had an unfortunate nighttime encounter with a sheep… which scarred the Coldplay guitarist for life.

This Best Story Ever comes from The Hour's 2008 Coldplay special, for which George travelled to the band's London studio. See more from that episode here:
