   <media:description>http://www.crohnsandcolitis.org.uk/worldIBDday

Specialist Inflammatory Bowel Disease Nurses provide invaluable support and expertise to people affected by Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, the two main forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

IBD Nurses strive to ensure that every patient’s needs are met so that they can live life to the full.

All IBD patients, and their loved ones, should have access to a Specialist Nurse who understands their needs and can provide the right kind of support when they most need it.

Sadly though, not all patients can get help from an IBD Nurse and six out of ten IBD services across the UK don’t have enough Specialist Nurses to give the best quality care that all patients deserve.

This isn't good enough. Join our campaign on World IBD Day to increase the number of IBD Nurses across the UK.
