I have decided to make this video after one of our subscribers lost their driving licence just minutes after passing their driving test at the Slough Driving Test Centre.
He had been using his mobile phone as a satnav. Although it is not wrong to use your phone as a satnav, it must not be touched. If you need to make changes, you must stop and have the engine switched off.
The new drivers acts states that if the driver get 6 or more penalty points within the first 2 years, they will revert back to learner driver status. They will have to reapply for their learners licence and retake the theory and practical driving tests again.
You can get 6 points for using a phone when driving, 6 penalty points for speeding offence and 3 points per each damaged Tyre. The only way around it is to drive safely.
