BIOMAT-TB (Nano-enabled bio-PUR foams)

BIOMAT is a European Project that will establish an Open Innovation Test Bed to provide groundbreaking and highly technological services for a wide range of SME’s and industries. It will transform the typical polyurethane foams into sustainable, cost-effective, biobased, and nano-enabled alternatives for the Construction, Building, Automotive, and Furniture & Bedding sectors.

Thus, the consortium will develop a set of multidisciplinary technologies to produce biobased polyurethane foams, complemented with processes such as inline monitoring, digital twin pilots, nanosafety, and characterization methodologies. The pool of services is completed with business plans, LCC and LCA studies, and funds raising.
