When choosing a Real Estate agent to buy or sell a home, you have lots of choices! . Now that the market has recovered, people are grabbing this opportunity to get into the game! The cost to get a license is low. It’s easy to take the class, sit for the exam, and get a license. What happens next will determine a lot about the business acumen of the agent - and how they can help or harm you. Some will easily sell a few homes for friends or relatives, and some will NOT make it. In 2014 NAR reported that 87% of all new agents fail after five years.
This number doesn’t surprise me. I spent about 4 years assisting business start-ups at the Small Business Development Center. I helped write business plans, marketing plans, budgets and cash flow projections. Most people with a business idea do not know or appreciate what goes into making a business succeed. They just jump in to “see what will happen”. It is not magic or luck - it takes planning and a lot of hard work. You need to come into a business with a certain skill set and then grow that skill set over years before you can be called an expert - a Master - Top of the Game!
That is where I am today. I opened my Real Estate business in 2009 and am now an expert you can trust - Top of the Game! ...but still learning!

I managed 16 sales reps covering the Pacific Northwest and ranked #3 out of 32 offices nationwide. Before that, as a sales rep, I always ranked in the top 5% nationwide in performance. I am a super achiever!
My communication skills will work for you - I am a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), which means I can help you get the best possible outcome. An excellent communicator, I have live all over the country (my father was a Navy Chief) and have an adaptable stye that works for all. I listen carefully and am able to come up with creative solutions.
I invest in continuing education beyond the required 15 hours a year - I am constantly in class! It’s important to me to stay Top of the Game in every way. I eat, sleep, and breath real Estate - I find Real Estate to be a very fun and rewarding career and I read about it, view homes on vacation (yes, a nerd, I know), and even dream about it… My husband is a design builder and we both love everything about homes, especially remodeling and design.
