Melbourne city is one of my favourite places to be. It's bright, it's fun, it's happy — the people are effortlessly stylish and there are always new places to be found, no matter how hard you look the first time. I was lucky enough to be allowed out with my friends to frolic for a while, and I documented most of it through video. I wanted to immortalise it on YouTube so perhaps people can view this city from my humble perspective.
We did a lot of things in such little time! There was a lot of walking done (almost seven thousand step's worth!) and we went into many a vintage clothes store looking for bargains (don't let anyone ever tell you that thrift-shopping isn't cool). We went to Nova Cinema to see Operation Avalanche, just in case anybody is interested. It was really good — I highly recommend it. However, maybe give it a miss if you're prone to motion-sickness: I know my head was fuzzy during the scenes that were heavy on the shaky-cam. We even witnessed part of the shop flooding! That didn't, however, stop people from walking right through it, LOL!
We ate at this gorgeous restaurant that I'm itching to get back to. The five of us each got a bowl of Pho (which I couldn't finish! The bowl was just massive!). I was wary because I'd never had it before, but since I'm all about trying new things I put my faith in my friend Yvonne. And I was right to! But now I think she's unleashed the beast because I've been having cravings for it that my neighbourhood block-o-shops can't fulfill. The food was delicious, and my mango smoothie just hit the spot, y'know what I'm sayin'?
I did make a couple of purchases from Dangerfield, the "pop up" shop! I got this adorable striped crop-top that I forgot to show the camera, and also a cute little ring that was on sale (I'm a very frugal person most of the time, eep!) so I was more than chuffed. As you could probably tell from the video, we also did so many other things — we spent so much time at a bookstore just enjoying all the literature — and I can't wait to go back to the lovely inner city and explore some more.
Thanks so much for watching, you know I love having you guys around.
And as always, the good stuff:
City on, my dudes.
