  • Kundalini Awaken Chakra Enlighten (Unique Discovery) Shri Mataji Sahaja Yoga Intro Self Realization

    24,309 views 6 years ago
In 1970, HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi founded Sahaja Yoga, a dynamic technique for meditation that takes us beyond our limitations. Through the awakening of the spiritual energy, we can experience the integration of whole aspects of our lives.

"There is a power which is a residual power of Kundalini. It is called as Kundalini because it is coiled as three-and-a-half coil. It is resting in the triangular bone . This is the energy that has to be awakened and when it is awakened it rises through 6 very subtle energy centers and pierces through the fontanelle bone area. And then you feel as if a 'cool breeze' is coming out of your fontanelle bone area. But this is just like a connection with the mains as we have for every instrument.

With this happening, you become a Self-realized person in the sense that you develop a new dimension in your awareness, in your central nervous system. And which you can feel the centers or these 'chakras' of your own being and that of others. So you get the self knowledge also the knowledge about others, what are their problems....

... 'Saha' means 'with' and 'ja' is 'born with you'. Also Sahaja means spontaneous. Yoga means the union with All-pervading Divine Power.

Sahaja Yoga is the right of every human being to achieve that ascent...

...To get to the absolute knowledge, we have to rise higher into new realm, beyond thought and this is the new realm which you achieve after Sahaja Yoga.

With the awakening of the Kundalini, so many things also happen. Because it nourishes all your chakras. By the nourishment of your chakras, you find that your health suddenly improves...

It is such a remarkable thing that it has to happen to all of us as the last jump or break through into the evolutionary process. Sahaja Yoga is not a new thing. It has been there but it was only transmitted from one master to one disciple... and now it is becoming practical and thousands of people are getting Realization all over the world."

Experience your Self Realization - Kundalini Awakening, Atmasaakshaatkara, Brahmagyana (Sahaja Yoga) Spontaneous Union with the Divine Power of Love, Holy Ghost, Ruh, Param Chaitanya ...

Follow along with Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi giving Self Realization Kundalini Awakening to Spiritual Seekers around the world free of charge, just out of love, respect and compassion. The existence of the Spirit can be felt on the central nervous system. One feels the Cool Breeze of the All-Pervading Power of Love after Self Realization, Kundalini Awakening, or Second Spiritual Birth. This new experience of the state of the Subtle Energy System, Chakras and Nadi Channels is an essential step toward Self Knowledge: Knowing our True Universal Self, the Spirit or Atma.

Self Realization is the awakening of the Kundalini through the central channel, piercing through the six chakras above the sacrum bone and emerging at the top of the head (fontanel bone area) as a gentle "fountain" of coolness. The word fontanelle itself means "little fountain" which shows again the ancient knowledge about this phenomenon of Self Realization.

Self Realization has always been the ultimate goal of all religions and spiritual traditions of the world, but was extremely difficult to attain in the past. It has now become a mass phenomenon achieved effortlessly through Sahaja Yoga, which is Shri Mataji's invaluable gift to humanity.

In Shri Mataji's own words, "Self Realization is the first encounter with Reality". "We have the Mother within ourselves, in our hearts, and if She is awakened, She is going to look after us. She is going to give all the protection that is needed. And there is nothing to be frightened of anything."

"Kundalini cures you, she improves you, she bestows all the blissful things upon you. She takes you away from the worries of the grosser level", says Shri Mataji.

The manifestation of the Kundalini energy is called vibrations , which is an approximate translation of the Sanskrit term Chaitanya. In Shri Mataji's words, "Chaitanya (vibrations) is the integrated force of your physiological, mental, emotional and religious Selves."

World Realization Day (5th May) - Channel

HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi (Nargol, 1970)

"I used to think, "Why are men doing such a drama and what has happened to them? Why are they doing all this nonsense?" But to whom was I to say all these things? I was all alone then. At the time when I arrived here [Nargol, 1970], the only confusion that I had must be done. After coming here, when I saw this rakshasa was mesmerizing people, I realized then if at that time somehow the Sahasrara was not opened, then God knows where these people would ultimately be lead. Moreover, the spell of his influence could not be ignored and also what would have been the fate of his disciples, those who were trying to seek God and the truth?

Then I decided to stay the night at the seashore. I was all alone and felt very good. There was no one around to say a word. And then in meditation, I felt that the time had arrived when the Sahasrara must be opened. The moment I desired for the opening of the Sahasrara, what I noticed was that the Kundalini rose like a telescope within me, opening one stage after the other, travelling upward -- khat, khat, khat. The colour of it was like the mixture of all the colours of these lamps put together, with which you have decorated. It was like the colour of molten red-hot iron.
Then I saw the external structure of the Kundalini that kept on rising up, creating sounds at each chakra. The Kundalini rose up to pierce the Brahmarandhra. Piercing mine was not a big deal, but then I thought it would now become easier in the world. I felt at that moment whatever energy was there above suddenly entered within me like a cool breeze from every direction. It was then I realized that now there was no harm in starting the work. ..."

"The confusion was all over. Yet not being completely certain about the decision, I thought with all calmness that at last the time had come now. "At most what will happen? People will protest or beat Me up. At maximum, they will laugh or make fun or, beyond that, they are going to kill me." But then there was nothing to fear. This ultimately had to be done. I had come on Earth for this purpose only, to awaken the collective consciousness in human beings. I thought, until people received their Self Realization or understood their own Self, this task would be impossible.

Whatever else one would have tried to do in this world would be of no use at all. That was the reason to begin with that I worked it out on an old lady who knew me well. When she received her Realization, then I was then satisfied. I said to myself, "Well, at least one has received her Realization." By any means was it an easy task to give Realization in this Kali Yuga? But then when one of them received Realization, I felt many others could also get their Realization. And especially at the level of collective consciousness, it would be easier to give awareness. It was easy to give Realization to one person. It was in fact very easy to make a person aware. But to work it out on a collective level on the masses, it demanded more work.

So I had to work a bit more with my acquired experiences with the humans. As a matter of fact, I felt that when I had to stop, what would be the factors that would be required to consider for taking out the bad habits or individual problems or conditionings from human beings. Because one individual had one type of problem, another had a second type, while the third had yet another type. I thought if it had to be worked out on a collective level, then everyone should get the benefit with a single en-masse Realization. Everyone should be able to gain out of it. Now I cannot explain it to you here, but it is true that these types of workings had never been done before on a collective level.
I had achieved all these through meditation."

'Freedom and Liberation' Film (about HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi founder of Sahaja Yoga Meditation.

India Independence (70 Years) - Sahaja Channel

A beautiful modern film documentary about HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi and Her Life's work of giving Self Realization to the spiritual seekers of the World (Beginning of Sahaja Yoga) by Carolin Dassel - Devi Productions. The freedom of our spirit, an inner liberation. A biography of one of the greatest beings of all time, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi: A spiritual vision for humanity.

"I started searching myself within myself."
    Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

Inspired by her political parents and Mahatma Gandhi, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi dedicated her youth to the resistance against the British Empire for Indian freedom. But all those years she kept to her vision − a vision which goes beyond the political freedom of her motherland, a vision of inner freedom and transformation of each individual, a vision that is worth fighting for and that would take her to the five continents giving thousands of lectures and offering Self-Realisation en masse.
"... we are here to get our freedom, to get the freedom for our spirit, to make our spirit free from our greed, lust, from your anger, from our conditionings, from our terrible ego."

In 1970, Shri Mataji developed a method to give people Self-Realisation, the connection with their own spirit. She showed people how to reach the state of meditation and find the deep silence inside which is thoughtless awareness.
"We have within us that power. I call it as Kundalini."
"When the Spirit, which is the source of joy and truth, is connected through the Kundalini, the human attention becomes enlightened."

Shri Mataji started her spiritual work with a small number of people in India and later in the West, mostly from the generation of the 1968 student movement in Europe. Today, she is still travelling all over the world to help and enlighten as many people as possible, without charging for her work. Her teaching is practised freely in over 95 countries for the benevolence of humanity, helping individuals to find peace, wellbeing and joy, and to discover the meaning of life. A movie that could change your life ...

  • Mental Silence - Silent Meditation (Sahaja Yoga) Health Stress Medical Research Meditate Thoughtless Awareness Play all

Practising mental silence (silent meditation) going beyond thoughts (thoughtless awareness) improves health and reduces stress levels (Sahaja Yoga Meditation)

Featuring Mental Silence Guided Meditation at Youth Health Seminar Queensland, Australia, Meditation studies, TV interviews with Dr Ramesh Manocha about the positive effects of Sahaja Yoga Meditation on the brain, and Sahaja Yoga research in Royal Hospital for Women. Special thanks to Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi the founder of Sahaja Yoga Meditation.

TV (Australia): Channel 10, Channel 7 Sunrise program - About the outcome of recent research proving the substantial benefits of Sahaja Yoga and being in 'thoughtless awareness' or 'mental stillness' on a regular basis for even short periods during the day.

MEDITATION linked to better WELLBEING and HEALTH, including MENTAL HEALTH

The experience of 'mental silence' is linked with better health outcomes and greater wellbeing according to a University of Sydney study. The area of greatest difference was in mental health, where long-term meditators, with a minimum of 2 years of regular practice, were more than 10 percent better off than the general population.

"We found that the health and wellbeing profile of people who had meditated for at least two years was significantly higher in the majority of health and wellbeing categories when compared to the Australian population," said Dr Ramesh Manocha, Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Psychiatry, Sydney Medical School, who led the research.

He worked with Professor Deborah Black, Sydney Medical School and Dr Leigh Wilson, Faculty of Health Sciences at the University. "Most markedly there was a robust relationship between the frequency of experiencing mental silence and better mental health. This definition is based on it being the form of meditation practised for centuries."

The national study is a world-first health quality-of-life survey of long-term meditators. It used the same measurement instruments as the one used by the federal government's National Health and Wellbeing Survey. More than 350 people from across Australia who have meditated for at least 2 years were assessed for the national study which has been published in the journal of Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine.

"We focused on the definition of meditation as mental silence and surveyed practitioners of Sahaja Yoga meditation who practise a form of meditation aimed at achieving this state rather than relaxation or mindfulness methods that are usually the focus of other forms," Dr Manocha said.

The meditators were asked how often they experienced 'mental silence' for more than a few minutes at any one time. 52 percent of respondents said that they experienced mental silence "several times per day or more" while 32 percent were experiencing it "once or twice per day".

"Our analysis showed very little relationship at all between how often the person who meditated physically sat down to meditate and mental health scores. However the relationship was clearly apparent in relation to how often they experienced the state of mental silence.

"The health advantage appears to be connected to this aspect more than any other feature of the meditation lifestyle. In other words it is quality over quantity."

"While we did expect that there would be some differences between the meditators and the general population we didn't expect the findings to be so pronounced. We repeated large components of the survey several times to confirm our results and got the same outcomes."

The Australian government survey give a numerical score to each facet of mental and physical health and because it has been applied as a national measure for the past 10 years in studies around the world involving millions of people. It allowed the researchers to accurately compare the health profile of the meditators surveyed with the general Australian population.

The meditators were primarily non-smokers and non-drinkers, so to adjust for that potential bias the researchers also compared the meditators to those parts of the Australian population who did not drink or smoke, and achieved the same results.

"This is one of the first studies to assess the long term health impacts of meditation on health and wellbeing. When we take the evidence of this study, along with the results of our other clinical trials, it makes a strong case for the use of meditation as a primary prevention strategy, especially in mental health," Dr Manocha said.

  • Music Therapy - Omkar (Sahaja Yoga Meditation) Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi - Kundalini Chakra Raag AUM OM Play all

Music Therapy (Kundalini Chakras Healing Musical Notes, Ragas, Mantras) - HH Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi founder of Sahaja Yoga Meditation.

Sahaja Yoga Meditation (Music Raags) - Channel

Indian classical music therapy is a complementary therapy that promotes the inbuilt natural healing process. This music produces beneficial effects and is physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually uplifting. It can be effective by itself and also can be applied as an adjuvant therapy from our ancestors who were spiritually evolved and had realized essential harmony between the human being and nature.

Original knowledge of these things is found in Vedas. Gandharva Veda, which is a constituent of Sama Veda, is regarded as the Veda of Music. The science of medication is one of the most enlightened ways of Sama Veda.

Omkar Music Therapy by Dr Arun Apte

In particular, through the combination of specific notes (this combination of notes is called Raga) you can act on specific chakra.
OM (Omkar) is the primordial sound of which created the universe. Also the sound of the residue, called Kundalini.
The Omkar consists of 4 sounds: A and U contracts that give O, O nasal (anuswara) and M.
Each of these sounds has a direct effect on our energy system:

A - kar has the power to activate the left channel or lunar channel.
U - kar has the power to activate the right channel or solar channel,
M - kar acts directly on the center channel.

This therapy is widely used for stress management.
How does Indian classical music therapy work on the chakra system?

In our day-to-day life, we find that all the seven chakras are not active all the time. Some do not work properly, as there are some hindrances, due to lack of required energy power.

Since these chakras are connected with different organs, any hindrance in their functioning creates physical imbalance in the person. Emotional and mental imbalance are also seen depending upon the state of the chakras. Indian classical music produces different effects such as heating, cooling, soothing and emotional psyche of the listener.

When the energy, vibrations and frequency of Indian classical music match with the energy, vibrations and frequency of the chakras, they get activated. This inner integration makes a natural path for the Kundalini to rise upward. When rising, the Kundalini nourishes the chakras and provides proper energy to them. Since organs are connected with the chakras, they also get the proper and adequate energy required and thus the balance is restored.

Once the Kundalini finds its path to rise, it rises and pierces through the fontanel bone area and forms connection with the cosmic energy (power of divine love): it enlightens the brain and activates all the nerves in the brain, which in return, enlighten the heart.

About the raagas Indian classical music is based on the raaga system. The raaga is a melodic scale, consisting of notes. The word 'raaga' in Sanskrit means 'to please'. Technically then raaga means a sweet combination of musical notes coming after another in succession.

Raaga Shyam Kalyan helps to activate Mooladhara chakra. It allows the Kundalini rise gently, easily and naturally.
Raaga Gurjari Todi has a capacity to cool down the liver and Raga
Gurjari Todi and Yaman has a power of sustenance. Both raagas help to activate Swadisthan chakra. Both raagas have a power to stabilize the wandering attention which is very important for the meditation.
Raaga Abhogi helps to activate Nabhi chakra and stimulate the digestion process.
Raaga Bhairav and Durga have a power of divine bliss and protection. Both raagas help to activate Heart chakra.
Raaga Jaijaiwanti helps to activate Vishuddhi chakra which controls five sense organs.

Raaga Bhup is found effective to purify and open the Agnya chakra by deflating the balloon-like structures, of subconscious and ego. It is also useful to release tension, anger and mental fatigue. Mood created by this raaga greatly assist the Kundalini to pass through the Agnya chakra and enter the apex chakra Sahasrara in the limbic area. The person is now in the state of thoughtless awareness.

Raaga Darbari and Bhairavi are extremely helpful to settle and prolong the thoughtless awareness state. Notes of this raagas relax the limbic area. The Kundalini then soothens and nourishes the chakra and the brain. One feels joyous, energetic, peaceful and relieved of tension and depression. The person also enjoys the sensation of cool breeze on his fingertips. This is the state of yoga. Regular practice in this way can open a new dimension of self knowledge and collective consciousness. Through Sahaja Yoga Meditation, the person can effortlessly achieve his complete well-being.
