It's been an incredible 6 years in the U.S. Senate working on behalf of the people of North Dakota and across rural America, whose voices too often aren't heard in Congress. Coming into work every day, fighting for rural America, has been a true privilege and I'm proud to have gotten so much done for North Dakota—like passing two Farm Bills, working to provide resources to address challenges in Indian Country, lifting the 40-year-old ban on exporting oil, passing my bill to crack down on websites like Backpage that knowingly facilitate human trafficking, passing important legislation to combat opioid abuse, fighting to protect the pensions of our workers & retirees, and much more. There's still more to do, and I’m going to keep working to find solutions to keep our communities strong and safe. Thank you, North Dakota, for allowing me to serve you for these last 6 years in the Senate. It has meant the world to me and I’ve worked hard for you every day.
