The Sixth Kubuqi International Desert Forum was held from July 28 to July 30, 2017, in the Kubuqi Desert in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. The forum allowed people from all around the world to participate and witness the successful practices of Kubuqi’s desertification control. The main objective of the forum was to enable participants to have a better understanding of the Kubuqi Model. The strongest pillars of this model are the government policy support, industrial investment, market-orientated participation of farmers and herdsmen, and sustainable ecological improvement. Likewise, this interesting and valuable model will play an important role in all countries along the “One Belt, One Road” initiative. Along the video, you will be able to appreciate the different perspectives from well-known national and international speakers. We are pleased to extend an invitation to watch and learn more about the Kubuqi Model and its challenges in the near future. Show less
