    Adobong Manok Recipe Tagalog is one of the best-loved Filipino delicacies of all times. As a matter of fact, Adobo is even the National Dish of the Philippines. Adobo is a Filipino recipe that is often served in restaurants, small carinderia, and commonly cooked in the humble homes of Pinoys all over the archipelago.

    Adobong Manok Recipe Tagalog Ingredients: 1 pound chicken, cut into pieces 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 medium onion, chopped 1 inch ginger, sliced thinly 1/3 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup vinegar 1/2 cup water 2 medium potatoes, diced 1 medium carrot, diced 3 pieces bay leaves 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns 2 tablespoons cooking oil salt and pepper

    How To Cook Adobong Manok Recipe Tagalog

    1. In a skillet, saute garlic, onion, and ginger in oil over medium heat for 5 minutes.
    2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until tender and light brown in color for about 5 minutes on each side.
    3. Mix in the soy sauce, vinegar, water, potatoes, and carrots. Bring to a boil and simmer while covered under low heat for 20 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
    4. Add the bay leaves, peppercorns, salt and pepper to taste then cook for another 5 minutes. Stir occasionally to avoid burning the Adobo sauce.

    Serve Adobong Manok Recipe Tagalog in a plate with steamed white rice. Enjoy this very tasty chicken treat on a cold snowy day. *
