Tutkimuksen avulla olemme selättämässä syövän ja saamme jatkuvasti lisää välineitä ilmastonmuutoksen hidastamiseen. Koulutamme tutkimuspohjaisessa opetuksessa maailman parhaita opettajia. Tutkimuksen avulla ymmärrämme tekoälyn mahdollisuudet ja ja ongelmat.
Maailma ja sitä myötä ihmisten ja ympäristön tarpeet muuttuvat tulevaisuudessa yhä nopeammin. Emme vielä tiedä, mihin kaikkiin kysymyksiin tarvitsemme ratkaisun 50 vuoden kuluttua. Se on kuitenkin varmaa, että tulevien haasteiden ratkaiseminen vaatii pitkäjänteistä tutkimusta. Siksi tarvitsemme tiedettä.
