    Merle Haggard was one of the pioneers of country's Bakersfield sound and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1994. In addition, he was further commemorated when inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 1997.

    'Take Me Back To Tulsa' was originally recorded by Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, who performed it in the 1940 movie 'Take Me Back to Oklahoma.'

    The song has been recorded by many artists over the years and is a well known country standard.

    This performance was recorded live at Church Street Station in Orlando, Florida.
