I find that many of the adventures in my life often lead to some sense of reflection or insight. It gets me away from the computer and into a disconnected environment (something hard to come by these days). Floating in the water for long periods of time gives you time to think - and to look for waves. Throw in some seagulls and a pod of dolphins and it gets downright spiritual.
