The Piaggio P180 Avanti is an Italian executive transport aircraft with twin turboprop engines mounted in pusher configuration. Piaggio P180 Avanti seats up to nine passengers in a pressurized cabin, and may be flown by one or two pilots. The design of Piaggio P180 Avanti is of three-surface configuration, having both a small forward wing and a conventional tail plane as well as its main wing, with the wing spars passing outside of the passenger cabin area.
The Frecce Tricolori (Italian, literally Tricolour Arrows) is the aerobatic team of the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare), based at Rivolto Air Force Base, in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The team flies the Aermacchi MB-339-A/PAN, a two-seat fighter-trainer aircraft designed by Ermanno Bazzocchi. With nine aircraft and a solo they are the largest aerobatic team in the world.
