Think I may make a tutorial on using Search engines and other online tools (Github, Stack overflow, official documentation etc). Its a very important concept that every developer uses these days. Even back in the day, devs would resort to looking at news groups, magazines and books to find the solution to a query. Its one of those skill sets that people rarely teach or talk about even though its important.

Maybe doing a Live Stream this weekend. Nothing specific, just work on the Tauri Project that I am currently a part of. Its all Rust so come join if you are interested in seeing how things work on a larger project. Certain items like Rust Testing, Mocking and Property Testing are the things that I will be focusing on. I do plan to make a video on these subjects in the future as well.

Hey guys, due to the holiday, I probably won't be releasing a video this week. To those that celebrate the holiday, have a good one and to those that don't have a good week.

A few minutes ago the channel hit 25k subscribers. When I started this thing 2.5 years ago, I never would have imagined that there would be that many people interested in what I have to say/teach. Thank you to everyone who continues to support the channel. To all of the new faces, glad to have you, hope you stay awhile and find content that you like.

Going to be making another video on Rust Borrowing and Ownership. I have never been completely satisfied with my original video. Also, given that we need a concrete understanding of Ownership and Borrowing to understand Smart Pointers, Atomic pointers/values and many concepts in Async/Await, now seems like as good of time as any to do it. I know its a retread of content but it will also be more in-depth then the original.

I must confess I was very surprised when last week's Rust video blew up like it did. It didn't dawn on me until then that at least 40% of you guys are interested in Rust and have probably been waiting for more content (very patiently I might add). Well, that wait is over; and as I always intended, I will be producing a fairly prolific rust series over the next few weeks/months. Thank you everyone for all of the support; you guys always seem to catch me by surprise. I am so glad to have such a passionate community of followers. And for the non-rust fans, don't worry, I will continue to cover Go, Dart, and Elixir. This is why I started shuffling my upload schedule. If I make 3-4 videos a week then I want each of them to be on a different subject so that the vast majority of you will find at least one video that might be worth your time.

I want to do a Rust Async/Await tutorial series but I am not entirely sure how I should approach it. Its a very large and somewhat complex subject considering how much change has happened in the paradigm over the past few years. I know I could do a talk on pins for 60 minutes on their own (not that I would want to). Thinking, we start small and just work our way up to building an executor, thread pool, reactor, event loop etc.
