AnaEE (Infrastructure for Analysis and Experimentation on Ecosystems) is part of the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures Roadmap (2010) as a new distributed EU infrastructure for ecosystem research. AnaEE's preparatory phase is co-funded by the EU under the European Commission's 7th Framework Programme from 2012 to 2016.

AnaEE is a research infrastructure for experimental manipulation of managed and unmanaged terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. It will strongly support scientists in their analysis, assessment and forecasting of the impact of climate and other global changes on the services that ecosystems provide to society. AnaEE will support European scientists and policymakers to develop solutions to the challenges of food security and environmental sustainability, with the aim of stimulating the growth of a vibrant bioeconomy.
