Whidbey Playhouse

The Whidbey Playhouse is a volunteer supported 501 c3 non-profit charitable organization, dedicated to providing quality theatrical experiences to people of all ages.

The Whidbey Playhouse has been presenting live theatre in Oak Harbor for 50 years. Though we are a small community theatre, we strive for excellence and professionalism in all that we choose to do. We promote and nourish community spirit, providing support and encouragement to individuals and other cultural arts groups.

Since our very first production, Madame President in 1966, we have presented hundreds of musicals, dramas, comedies, melodramas, mysteries, youth productions, variety shows and original musical reviews. Currently, the Playhouse produces five shows (plays and musicals) during the regular season (September through June), plus a full youth theatre program with workshops and summer productions.
