Its called a messenger. Probably went for around $350 nre back in 1969. If you look close, you can see the masking tape covering the "F holes. A trick used to tame unwanted feedback.
Quite possibly the hottest of all country artists. Gorgeous!!!!!
Looks like fun. Think of the BBQ afterward! Can't beat a good pig
I assume all of you can read so you must have read the part in Rolling Stone where it said part of the rankings included the impact that the artist made to music. Why else would Joan Jett be on the list. Another thing regarding Keith Richards: Jimmy page once said in a GP interview "you can forgive Keith for everything he's done because of his playing on Dance Little Sister". As for the fucking clown who said SRV just re-hashes old Hendrix; Learn how to play before you make stupid comments.
That wasn't me just inventing that theory. Its stated in the book called Up & Down With The Rolling Stones by Tony Sanches. He was Keith's best friend and supplier during that era. If you're a Stones fan you should get that book. It'll blow you away! You can also see Tony in the Gimme Shelter movie while they're in the hotel room during the Brown Sugar song
Bon was probably the better singer but Brian was easily the better frontman.
I was never the biggest AC/DC fan but this song converted my old ass. Quite possibly the coolest riff in the last 10 years. Simple, no nonsense rock n roll.
Keith"s son died during the 73 European tour. We all love Keith but he was so far gone at the time, he didn't even return home for the funeral. Stay off the drugs kids!
Wonder if Woody borrowed that Dan Armstrong from Keith. Too bad that guitar never really took off. Great sound!!!!
I totally understand your logic about wanting to finish the animal off as quickly as possible. However, 90% of the time a wounded whitetail will get up and run if pursued too early making it even more difficult for to put him down for good. Its a tough thing to do and it may seem harsh but its actually best to let the animal lay down and expire to ensure a recovery. Lets hope none of us are faced with that terrible decision. Good Hunting!
More than likely that deer survived. I see you're shooting a Mathews. Nice choice in bows. You can see how he jumped the string which is why we always should aim for the lower third of the deer regardless of arrow speed. This happens to us all eventually. That's how we learn. Been there and done that. Nice job either way. Good Hunting in 2012!
Are you sure this is the Detroit show? This sounds an awful lot like the Memphis show of the same year. I recorded it from the King Biscuit Flower Hour and although I lost the recording, this sounds exactly the same. For some reason, I remember them opening with Sweet Little 16 at this show. Maybe I'm getting old and can't remember. Can anyone confirm?
