Hello coach Lee! I've had some trouble with my middle/upper back. Doctor said that my back muscles are imbalanced because of badminton. Do you know any good exercises to correct this? I play 3-4 times a week and do some off court training also (weight lifting/ running). My posture might not be that good either.
Yes that sounds right, but if i understand right coach Lee insists using the wrist flick, which i think means bending the wrist. But then again for example badmintonbible tells us not to use bending of the wrist when smashing. a bit confused :)
Hello coach Lee and thx for all the great videos! I've rather confused about the role of the wrist in smash(and clears). You seem to teach that the most power comes from the flick of the wrist, while many other badminton sources state that the most power comes from body and arm rotation. Any comment on this? For me it's not clear should i start focus using wrist flick when smashing or focus body and arm rotation?
eye of the tiger! :)
I was wondering does this work only for strong build players like you? Some players are not as strong as others. Should weaker players use this technique as well?
