THE ADVICE WE ALL NEED TO HEAR FROM GARY VAYNERCHUK | MELVYN.TV
Here’s what Gary Vaynerchuk had to say to my fans on Melvyn.TV
That same advice is something that we, yes you and me, need to hear.
This was recorded in Singapore on October 25, 2017 at BrandMinds Conference.

In 2002, after the dot-com he joined failed, Melvyn was left with just $15 in his bank account and was on the verge of bankruptcy.
At his wits end, he met with a mentor who asked him this:
“You regained consciousness, finding yourself in the foxhole. You hear sounds of gunshots all around. You look around and see dead comrades beside you. You have your rifle with only one round left. What do you do?”
He took the advice and gave it a good fight.
In 2004, he leveraged his knowledge and experience and started a consulting firm from scratch. Within 18 months, the firm grew by more than 350% using design thinking principles.
In the third year, the firm was successful by most standards:
1) Reach: worked with more than 50% of all schools in Singapore.
2) Reputation: almost all new clients were referrals.
3) Revenue: 6-figure annually.
Despite all the successes, Melvyn was working, sometimes, an average of 16 hours daily.
In 2013, when he became a dad for the second time, Melvyn wanted to invest more time with his family. But he had a problem: the money stops when he stopped working.
In 2016, he walked away from the 6-figure training and consulting practice to embark on a one-year travel adventure to world-school his children.
During this time, he was also searching for a way leverage his talent by earning a living over the Internet.
In the one-year, he tried everything conceivable. He tried selling ebooks, online courses, podcasting, vlogging, curated newsletter, affiliate marketing, social media marketing, membership site.
None of it worked.
On May 26, 2017 he decided to give vlogging one last shot.
This show is about what happened next.
