On February 15th, 2018. The French Goat in Lewisburg, West Virginia hosted an apprentice day for two students, 8 year-old Mykah and 15 year-old Margaret. The students worked with Chef Stephen Gustard for the day to learn the ins and outs of French culinary. Chef Gustard guided the students in preparing Banana Bread, Swiss Meringue and Lemon Curd Tarts, and tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches. He also walked the students to Edith’s Health Food Store, a local Lewisburg favorite which carries a variety of seasonal produce, artisan bread, local meats, grains, herbs, and seasonings.
