What goes through the mind of a college graduate on graduation day?
One Presbyterian College graduate thinks about what mattered most about her time on campus.
When she arrived on campus, she was only concerned about getting her degree and then her dream job.
She thought that was all that mattered.
On graduation day, she realized that what mattered most was what happened between her first day at Presbyterian College and the day she graduated.
What mattered was studying abroad.
Listening to her favorite professor on the steps of Neville Hall.
Taking trips to Waffle House with her friends.
For her, she realized that it matters that a staff member remembers your name.
It matters that a professor invites you over for a home-cooked meal when you’re feeling homesick.
It matters where you choose to take your college journey.
“Everyone takes a journey,” she says. “What makes PC PC is that you don't take the journey alone.”
