Students in Prof. Azlin Perdomo’s new course “Documenting the Immigrant Experience,” offered by the CAST (Creativity, the Arts and Social Transformation) Program, partnered with Waltham High School’s English Language Learners program to tell the stories of several high school students. The Brandeis student teams documented the experiences shared with them, turning them into films.
The International Center for Ethics, Justice and Public Life and the Student Union present Brandeis University's annual weeklong "festival of social justice." Students, professors, clubs, and academic departments have planned dozens of events throughout the week, featuring talks, artmaking workshops, performances, exhibits, and discussions. Keep an eye on this space, as we add videos of events throughout the week!
