After a little teasing in a previous episode, here we are! Today, we're heading to the Middle-earth. Yet, if you're fearless fans of Tolkien's the Lord of the Rings, or of sir Peter Jackson's version, chances are you'll be disappointed here as we'll discuss the Hobbit trilogy way more than the Fellowship of the Rings, the Two Towers and the Return of the King... And as a matter of fact, it's precisely the difference in the reactions following the releases that caught our interest here. Is the Hobbit the antithesis to the Lord of the Rings or simply a pale copycat? Has Peter Jackson been too ambitious, or too little? Is the Hobbit to the Lord of the Rings, what the sequels have been to Star Wars? Is Peter Jackson following George Lucas' path? Or would the movie have been better, has it been directed by Guillermo del Toro? Answering those questions led to the longest Mr. Bobine's episode to date, as, similarly to Peter Jackson's six films, we've largely gone overtime with a more than 30-minutes long episode...
