Finally here! It took awhile for me to get this up because of health problems and then computer program problems. Augh! But, here it is! Enjoy. If I missed anything, please ask away. And if I made a mistake in my science explanations, please, correct me! Also, I didn't post any graphics on the modern groups and their percentages because I feel there should be something left over for you to crave and thus you will buy a kit for yourself. Also, thank you, National Geographic, for providing this information for me. Buy a kit, everyone!
I realize some of the graphics you will not be able to read. Just another reason to get the kit! (Although, yours may be drastically different, I feel I should leave some of my personal history for myself.)
One question I have is: Since Denisovan and Neanderthal DNA is so similar to Homo Sapien (human) DNA, are the percentages I'm getting, the percentages in my DNA that is specifically different to Homo sapien DNA, or the exact percentage of Neanderthal and Denisovan that I am? Does that make sense? Kind of confusing.
Second question: Are the first couple (or 3) haplogroups generic for everyone? Are they supposing all mankind is related? Are they guesses or did they actually find those genetic markersin my DNA? Just something I wonder because of the way it's mapped out and the fact that they haven't tested EVERY SINGLE PERSON in this world to be able to even make that claim. (Some scientists are silly and biased, you see.)
