Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd Plans Renovations
Our church is more than just a building. We are the body of Christ.
We worship, we serve, we share the faith, we learn and grow in our spiritual development and we are good stewards of our resources.
One of those resources is our physical building.
In order for us to best serve our mission, we need to not only take care of our building, we also need to adapt it to our changing needs
That’s why our congregation has taken steps to move forward with renovating our kitchen and fellowship hall.
Thanks in part to a generous anonymous donation of $75,000.
In order to accomplish this renovation, we need to raise a total of $400,000 in cash and pledges over the next three years.
Part of that anonymous gift requires we raise the first $75,000 on our own. So, that is our first milestone and are more than a third of the way there.
Once we raise the $75,000 in cash and pledges prior to November 1st, the $75,000 gift kicks in with it. Then we have the rest of the $250,000 to raise in cash and pledges over the next three years.
God has provided us with many opportunities to serve our community including about 19 community partners. With your help, we can continue to do that well into the future. We have aptly named this project “Bethlehem Serves,” because we try to do so much to serve. We are planning to start construction on about November 7th.
So, let’s just blow that first $75,000 milestone out of the water, leaving no doubt as to our desire to serve our community and God’s mission.
