I've always wanted to work in the film industry, but finding courses in 2001 was a challenge. My school had a photography course, and I signed up. Cameras still used film, and quality photos had to be developed in a darkroom. Fast forward to today, and everything is different.
Everyone's a photographer, producing and sharing amazing images with nothing more than their cell phone. Technology's changed, and in the same way photography has been made more accessible, so has video.
This channel's about me, a regular guy who wants to move past still pictures and start shooting pictures that move.
For years, I had wanted to take my Triumph Scrambler on an epic roadtrip, something that was more than just a weekend getaway. I was in Washington DC, roughly on the Atlantic coast, and I had a whole country between me and the Pacific coast. That would be the trip, to head west until I hit the ocean and then turn around. And I would do it all on my own.
