MDML Student Recitals

The Metropolitan Detroit Musicians League is a professional organization of teachers of music, affiliated with the MTNA. Since its founding in 1927, the professional membership of the League has included numerous distinguished artist-teachers that include: solo artists, chamber musicians, members of professional operas, orchestras and choruses, composers, lecturers, professors, and authors who seek to elevate their standards through promotion of teacher certification.

The seventy-plus members touch the lives of thousands of students in the tri-county area. Indeed, the thrust of the League is to serve the students with a rich and varied offering of events.

The League is proud of the accomplishments of the students, not only those who excel as competition winners or who pursue the profession of music at leading conservatories, but also those who pursue the aesthetic awareness, self-discipline, and the educational supplement that is gained through the study of music.
