The magnificent discontinued rail corridor between Coldstream and Kelowna has been secured for public use. Now it is our turn to make this trail happen through a community-driven fundraising campaign. It will take a community to build this rail trail legacy!

The process to convert rails to trails is now underway. Local governments of Kelowna, Lake Country, Regional District of the North Okanagan and the Okanagan Indian Band are cooperating to design and build the trail and have approved preliminary plans for the first phase of construction. Community Foundations are prepared to receive community donations and provide a tax deductible receipt.

Trail construction could begin by spring 2017, if we all come together, get involved and donate now - see www.okanaganrailtrail.ca. Let's do it!
