■福井県越前市で９日から、田中蓮くん（３）が行方不明となっている。身長１００センチほどのやせ形で、当時、緑色のジャンパーにカーキ色のズボンをはいていた。
■１１日、警察は１８０人態勢で現場を捜索。現場近くではチラシを配り、情報収集をする人の姿もあった。
■自宅がある越前市から、およそ５５０メートル離れた父親・了士さんの勤務先に車で立ち寄っていた２人。午後２時頃、会社での用事を済ますため、駐車場から離れた父親。およそ１０分後に戻ると、車にカギはかかっておらず、蓮くんの姿が消えていたという。
■座っていた助手席のシートベルトは、かかったままの状態で、蓮くんが手にしていたスマートフォンも車内に残されていたという。
■蓮くんの祖父は「川に落ちたんじゃないかな。もう流れてしまったのかもしれない」と可能性を指摘した。
■蓮くんが姿を消した駐車場の目の前には、柵のない川が流れている。行方不明になった９日は、みぞれが降るなど、川が増水していた。
■警察も川に転落した可能性があるとみて、現場から半径１キロを捜索している。
