The Writing Program Administration Graduate-student Organization (WPA-GO) and the Council of Writing Program Administrators (CWPA) present the WPA Story Project, an open-access internet archive of WPA stories intended to serve as a resource for teaching and research. Share your WPA story at WPA-GO's booth at the CWPA Conference, or record your own story (6 min. or less) and share it with us here. We ask our storytellers to consider the following three questions: 1) Why are you committed to WPA work (intellectually, emotionally, professionally)? What experiences or influences contributed to your commitment? 2) What experiences or opportunities have prepared (or are preparing) you for WPA work? What was (or is) good about them, & how might they be improved to better prepare future WPAs? 3) What do WPA-GO & CWPA do to support you as a current or prospective WPA? What more, if any, would you like to see them do? For more information, contact us at wpago1[at]gmail[dot]com.
