this short documentary film is adapted from the social experience i have seen on daily basis, either my friends in real life or internet life. not forget to mention that it was also once experienced by me recently. but glad i have brought my mind back in positive state.

this short film is about how social media taking over a person's mind into dark thoughts until they think less of themselves, excessive use of social media is also being put into account as one of the reasons why. since social media could lead human to mental illness.

    in this video:
the girl almost has her phone on her hand 24/7, scrolling over the timeline, watching other people's lives, and not to forget to also update her own post and status.

but eventually, she decides to isolate herself from circumstances because she starts to feel insecure and anxious with social judgment, beauty and success standards, plus the difference between social media life and reality where people react and act differently which leads her into mind games then eventually leads her to depression. she starts to realize that social media really blinds her from everything. she ignores people and logs out of her social media accounts, in purpose for social media detox. but the more she thinks, isolating herself is actually not gonna help her out of her thoughts. one thing that could help her out of it is only her mindset, neither cyber isolation nor real life isolation.

the purpose of this short film is to encourage everyone who watches this that they are worth it, and all those dark thoughts they have in mind are just illusions because they are actually so much more than that.

i want to encourage everyone that the blame is not fully on the social media. social media is the platform to connect with people without worrying where they are at the moment. but sometimes, at some point, everything is becoming the other way around and that is okay, that is normal.

all spoken words in the video are written and narrated by me and also some lines are taken from the book of "Note to Self" by Connor Franta, chapter "the pages i hope you never have to read".

i was completely inspired by connor franta's book, that chapter really describes how i felt that time until i decided to make this short film with the help of my best friend.

please leave a comment, subscribe, and thumb up in regards to helping those people out there who need our emotional support. remember you are worth it.
