This video explains the purpose of the following videos which have been produced to keep Tai Chi students at Yang's Martial Arts Andover (YMAA) practicing their Tai Chi at home. This playlist is entitled Tai Chi with Meg (Yang's) where the 108 Classical Yang Style is taught at YMAA.
Meg also instructs Tai Chi at the Andover Senior Center where those students learn the 24 Movement "Short Form" and that separate playlist is entitled Tai Chi with Meg (Seniors).
You are welcome to view both playlists.
This playlist will include eight videos:
(1) This Introduction
(3) Wuji and Tai Chi Qigong
(4) Beginners Part One thru Grasp the Sparrows Tail Left
(5) Beginners Part One thru First Brush Knee
(6) Beginners Part One thru Final Brush Knee
(7) The Entire 108 Movement Sequence
(8) Tai Chi Strategies for Stress Reduction
A message from Meg:
It's March 2020 and our world has changed dramatically. In the past, many of my students have said they wished they could take me home so they could hear my voice guiding them through their Tai Chi. They finally got their wish because here I am!
Although classes are on hiatus, students should maintain their Tai Chi at home, and these videos are my way of helping them review, practice and improve.
Because everyone needs Tai Chi for the times we're living in, everyone is welcome to view these videos, but they are oriented towards my specific classes.
These were produced on short notice with an Iphone and are non-rehearsed. We would appreciate comments and feedback about any of these videos to: YangsAndover@aol.com or directly to me if you have my contact info.
Be safe. Be well. Peace.
