What is Tabata Training?
The original Tabata training was introduced in 1996 in a study by Izumi Tabata. The training principle is similar to High Intensive Interval Training (HIIT) where several short training intervals are performed at maximum load and with short intervals.
The Tabata Interval Method has proven to maximize VO2 max, while also building endurance, burning fat, and retaining muscle.
