Strong. Lightweight. Sustainable. Resilient. BETTER. The Hillman Composite Beam (HCB®) is a revolutionary structural technology providing a better solution for bridges and marine structures. The HCB combines the strength and stiffness of conventional concrete and steel with the lightweight and corrosion-resistant advantages of a fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) shell. By combining the best attributes of these materials, an HCB bridge is sustainable and stronger, lighter and better than current practice.
