Dr. Robert R. Cargill is Associate Professor of Classics and Biblical Studies and Editor of Bible & Archaeology at The University of Iowa. He is a biblical studies scholar, archaeologist, classicist, author, and digital humanist. On this channel, Dr. Cargill discusses the archaeology of the lands of the Bible, Mesopotamia and Southwestern Asia, the text the Hebrew Bible, Christian New Testament, Pseudepigrapha, Apocrypha, Dead Sea Scrolls, Targums, and other things of interest to him.
