How is community development different? How does World Vision work in the field? This fun, animated video shows how we partner with children and families to help them break the cycle of poverty to bring fullness of life for all children.
When you sponsor a child, you not only give hope to just one little boy or girl, but their entire family and community. Sponsor a child today: http://bit.ly/1OKEHIg ________________________________ Subscribe to World Vision USA: http://bit.ly/1VOtih9
A quick glance at the news tells you the world is a scary place. It can frighten, paralyze, make you want to retreat. Imagine what it looks like through the eyes of a child. But here's the audacious promise: Instead of being overwhelmed, together, we can overcome. Together, with God’s help, we are greater than conflict, hunger, sickness, and poverty. Greater than the challenges that keep every child from a full life. One child. One family. One community at a time.
Our vision for every child is life in all its fullness. Our prayer for every heart, the will to make it so. Hear stories from some of the children we have served to help reach their God-given potential!
World Vision’s child sponsorship program works alongside children, families, and communities to build sustainable solutions that release them from long-term poverty. Sponsoring a child allows World Vision to plan ahead, which means your sponsored child can dream about a brighter tomorrow.
To sponsor a child is to give that child a future. Sponsoring a child allows you to create a relationship with a child in need, and we believe it’s the most powerful way to fight poverty. When you sponsor a child, you communicate life-changing love and encouragement through letters, photos, packages, and even visits!

Now in its fifth year, the crisis in Syria has unleashed one of the worst humanitarian crises in modern history. Roughly 12 million people have been displaced by the fighting and are in desperate need of assistance. Children are the largest and most vulnerable group affected by the Syria crisis, yet their needs are often unmet. A generation of children is at risk of being lost — lost to displacement, lost to poverty, lost to the worst forms of child labor and other forms of exploitation. Without educated and safe children, it will take much longer and be much harder for Syria to recover.
Please pray for the children impacted by the crisis in Syria, and give a gift to help refugee children and their families today.
World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
