In our first patient interview we introduce Patrick Scherbaum to you today. Patrick has been suffering from a severe form of ADHD since childhood. "ADHD is a neurobiological disease in which the transmission of information between nerve cells in the brain is partially altered. Core symptoms are attention disorders, hyperactivity and impulsivity." (1)
In a study of Grotenhermen und Milz (2015), which was carried out on 30 adult patients with therapy-resistant ADHD, improvements in the overall symptoms of all patients after treatment with cannabis were observed, particularly with regard to sleep disorders, impulsivity and concentration deficits. 22 patients were treated with cannabis flos and five patients with a finished dronabinol drug.
